Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our school team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging English language that fosters critical thinking, strong communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening), and a love of literature. The English Teacher will create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel empowered to explore language and express themselves confidently.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging English language lessons for students. Design and implement a variety of instructional strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, including differentiated instruction, collaborative learning, and project-based learning. Foster students' reading comprehension skills through exposure to diverse literary genres, non-fiction texts, and effective reading strategies. Guide students in developing strong writing skills across various forms (narrative, expository, persuasive, research) with an emphasis on grammar, syntax, vocabulary, and organization. Cultivate effective oral communication and presentation skills through discussions, debates, and presentations. Assess student progress regularly using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, providing timely and constructive feedback. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student achievement and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic progress. Actively participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in English. Contribute to the positive and supportive school culture through participation in school events, extracurricular activities, and departmental meetings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English Literature 3 years of experience teaching English in UAE. Proven ability to create a stimulating, student-centered, and inclusive learning environment. Strong knowledge of various literary genres, writing conventions, grammar, and vocabulary instruction. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Integrating technology effectively into the English curriculum. Commitment to continuous professional growth and collaborative learning.
