to support early language development in a nursery setting. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging English-language activities that promote speaking, listening, early reading, and writing skills in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons using play-based learning
Develop children's speaking, listening, phonics, and vocabulary skills
Use stories, songs, rhymes, role play, and games to support language development
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
Observe, assess, and record children's progress
Support children with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
Work collaboratively with class teachers, assistants, and management
Communicate effectively with parents about children's progress
Follow nursery policies, safeguarding, and health & safety procedures
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Education / English / Early Childhood Education
EYFS experience preferred
Native or fluent English speaker
Knowledge of phonics and early literacy development
Patient, creative, and enthusiastic personality
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Desirable
Teaching qualification (CACHE, Montessori, PGCE, or equivalent)
Experience working in a nursery or kindergarten
Knowledge of UAE early years regulations (if applicable)
