We are seeking an experienced and passionate English Lead to join our Secondary team from August 2025 . The successful candidate will lead the English department with a focus on GCSE curriculum delivery, curriculum innovation, and student achievement. This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary educator to make a lasting impact within a dynamic international school community. Key Responsibilities: Ensure high-quality teaching and learning across the department, aligned with GCSE standards Mentor and support English teachers through coaching, peer observations, and professional development Use data effectively to monitor student progress and drive improvement Promote literacy across the curriculum and develop strategies to raise attainment Oversee departmental assessments, moderation, and internal/external exam preparation Contribute to whole-school leadership initiatives and strategic planning Foster a positive, collaborative team culture within the English department Requirements
