Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily engineering and maintenance operations across the hotel
• Install, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and related systems
• Identify and operate shut-off valves for building systems
• Maintain spare parts inventory and purchase order records
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure safety and functionality
• Complete life safety checks including fire pump and generator testing
• Inspect fire sprinkler systems and alarm equipment
• Support disaster response planning and emergency preparedness procedures
• Respond to guest repair requests and operational maintenance needs
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance support of engineering staff
• Identify and recommend improvements to efficiency, safety, quality, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational policies at all times

Ideal Profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational qualification in engineering or maintenance
• At least two years of experience in building maintenance or hotel engineering
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of life safety systems and preventive maintenance planning
• Physically able to perform hands-on maintenance tasks
