Job Description

Cheval Maison, The Palm is looking for a competent Engineering Supervisor to supervise the maintenance team ensuring that the property is maintained to a high standards and ensure that agreed testing and maintenance procedure are completed on annula basis.
As Engineering Supervisor, some of your duties will include............

• To monitor and issue tasks from the in-house PPM schedule including fire alarm testing, emergency light testing and ladder schudule.
• To monitor and issue tasks from the contractors PPM servicing scheule including fire alarm, BMS etc to ensure plant and equipment is serviced to manufacturers recommendations to minimize breakdown and increase service life.
• Monitor and maintain all the building services, apartments, fitments structure and finishes to the building and grounds, with particular regard to health and safety of all colleagues and guests.
• To supervise the maintenance team with particular emphasis on: working standards, knowledge and compliance of all relevant H& S guidelines and good working practices; security and integrity of the building and it's guests, general colleague appearance, workload and work or procedures issued within the company handbook.
• To monitor and maintain effecitve spares and stores to cover on majority of breakdowns on site.
• To comply with all internal rules,plolicies and procedures, including those related to Health and Safety, Data Protection, and all tose contained within the colleague Handbook.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Significant experience in a multi-skilled Engineering role covering plumbing/electrical/mechanical/plant/building fabric ets.
• Broad Health and Safety experience including risk assessments and methos statements.
• Basic experience on Green practices.
• Exoerience working in BMS
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Strong verabl and written communication skills inluding the report-writing
• Confident communication skills internally and externally.
• Strong organization skills inlcuding ability to prioritize workload.
