The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:
Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience in engineering or maintenance roles preferably in hospitality or F&B sectors.
Previous experience working in hotels, resorts, commercial kitchens, or food & beverage production environments.
Familiarity with food service equipment (e.g., refrigeration systems, ovens, dishwashers, grease traps).
Experience managing maintenance schedules, repair projects, or facility upgrades.
Exposure to construction, renovation, or capital improvement projects is a plus.
Hands-on experience with safety inspections, audits, and compliance with health, fire, and environmental codes.
Familiarity with HACCP and hotel industry quality assurance standards.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical systems, and building automation.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment schematics.
Proficiency in maintenance software (CMMS) and basic computer applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
Team leadership and staff supervision.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Quick decision-making under pressure, especially during emergencies.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and other departments.
Clear and concise reporting to senior management or engineering managers.
In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
Experience implementing preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT)
Food safety or HACCP training (especially in F&B-heavy properties)
OSHA safety certification
HVAC Certification or Electrical License
Should be graduate in BTech
