Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Site Quality Control Engineer

with a strong background in

interior fit-out projects

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of

6 years of experience

in site quality control, inspections, and handover documentation. This role is crucial for maintaining our company's reputation for delivering projects of the

highest international standards

, ensuring that all works comply with specifications, drawings, codes, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain

quality control procedures and checklists

for all site activities. Conduct

regular inspections

and audits on finishing, joinery, MEP integration, and architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve any quality-related issues promptly. Prepare and maintain

inspection requests (IRs)

, quality reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans. Ensure all

materials and workmanship

meet project requirements before installation and final approval. Participate in

mock-ups, material approvals, and method statement reviews

to ensure compliance from the start. Oversee the

snagging and de-snagging

process, ensuring all works are rectified before final handover. Support the project team during

handover documentation

, including as-built drawings, warranties, and quality certificates. Promote a culture of

continuous quality improvement

on site and ensure all safety and regulatory standards are met.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum

6 years of experience

in

quality control for interior fit-out projects

(commercial, retail, hospitality, or luxury residential). Strong knowledge of finishing materials, installation standards, and quality inspection methods. Proven experience in preparing quality documentation and handling inspections with consultants and clients. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and best practices. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quality management systems. Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
