Manage interfaces with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders; ensure timely issue resolution and risk mitigation.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO, NFPA, IEC where relevant) and project-specific requirements.
Review and approve drawings, datasheets, specifications, models, and calculations; monitor design integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, technology adoption, and standardization across projects.
Support procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities as needed; contribute to as-built documentation.
Develop and manage execution plans, man-hour estimates, and budgets for the engineering scope.
Lead talent development, performance reviews, and succession planning for the engineering organization.
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices; champion innovation and value-added solutions.
Experience
25+ years of experience in FEED and Detail Engineering and EPCM experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Proven experience in oil & gas projects in the Middle East - mandatory
Extensive experience in gas processing facilities projects - mandatory
Experience with Tier-1 or Tier-2 Consultants (preferable, managing consultants from the client side)
Demonstrated track record delivering large-scale FEED/detail projects and effective engineering leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, chemical, electrical, civil)
Professional memberships or certifications (PE, Chartered Engineer) are a plus.
Advanced certifications in project/engineering management, HSE, or discipline-specific areas are advantageous.
