JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Engineering Manager Category: Manager Section: Operations Reports To: Project Manager ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides the design management plan with coordination of design consultant for permanent and temporary works
• Resolves technical issues as they occur and monitors progress in all areas of responsibility
• Design coordination with Design Consultant for planning and detailed design stages
• Liaises with Design Consultant in all respect and manages all design related issue with Design Consultant
• Interfaces with other disciplines and offices such as Planning, Design Consultants, Geotechnical etc.
• Leads, grows and develops the design team
• Analyzes and solves engineering-related problems with the assistance of subordinate managers and department personnel
• Coordinates all customer and internal engineering changes
• Reports on monthly basis of departmental metrics
• Follows up permanent corrective action plans to resolve any outstanding issues related to quality, production, equipment, tooling, customers, and production controls
• Evaluates and approves all equipment required for completion of projects
• Promotes and enforces a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with applicable legislation and company policies and procedures
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Performs other duties assigned by immediate superior as & when required

IMS ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reports any hazards or risks in addition to accidents/incident to QHSE.
• Abides local legal and client requirements.
• Ensures that all IMS procedures are regularly followed and raises the issue when they are not.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

• 10 years' experience in a similar position
• Experience in GCC is a plus
• Great analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate with other teams
• Sound judgment and pro-active attitude

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• BSc. in Civil Engineering

Job Type: Full-time Salary: From AED15,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
