Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer for a site supervision role in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our engineering team, you will oversee structural aspects of construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with local regulations.

Supervise and coordinate structural engineering activities on construction sites throughout Dubai Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to approved plans, quality standards, and safety regulations Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues and optimize project outcomes Manage and mentor junior engineers and team members, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment Review and approve structural designs, calculations, and drawings for compliance with local building codes and project specifications Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures for all structural elements Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for project stakeholders Coordinate with the design team to address on-site challenges and propose innovative solutions Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and clients Ensure all structural work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering and site supervision, preferably in the construction industry Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects in Dubai or similar environments In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and industry standards Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail Exceptional technical report writing and communication abilities Comprehensive understanding of building materials, methods, and quality control processes
