Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer - Structural to a supervision project in Dubai. In this role, you will oversee and manage structural engineering aspects of new roads and bridges.

Job Duties

Supervise and coordinate structural engineering activities on construction sites Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to approved plans and quality standards Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues Follow up set inspection for installations and review inspector's performance on a regular basis. Update progress for all assigned works to the project manager to include in his reports Review updated records that would form as built records Check and coordinate for all assigned services Coordinate with Head office (Design) for all material reviews and design queries Implement and maintain quality control procedures for structural elements Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and address concerns

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred) Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification Minimum of 12 years' experience in construction supervision of operation and maintenance of bridges and roads. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards in the UAE Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills Exceptional technical report writing and communication abilities Experience in managing large-scale construction projects In-depth understanding of building materials, methods, and quality control processes Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment Willingness to travel to various project sites within the UAE RTA Approved is preffered
