Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer - Planning to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing complex infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient and sustainable urban development in one of the world's most dynamic cities.

Develop comprehensive infrastructure plans for urban development projects, including transportation networks, utilities, and public facilities Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed infrastructure projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and government officials Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans Perform site assessments and analyze data to inform infrastructure planning decisions Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders Implement sustainable and innovative solutions in infrastructure design and planning Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and quality standards Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering team

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure planning and engineering Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) Strong skills in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and GIS applications Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Demonstrated experience with urban development projects and infrastructure systems In-depth knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the UAE Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and sustainable urban development practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in the UAE, is highly desirable
