Should have proven knowledge and skills in steel plant equipment mechanical maintenance like electric arc furnace, ladle refining furnace, continuous casting machine, EOT crane, dust collection system ect,.
Material planning and procurement by rising purchase requisitions, communication and follow up with purchase and stores departments
To control maintenance spares & materials in his assigned area EAF/LRF/IF/DCS and Ladle section.
Arrange sufficient ready to use spares in EAF/LRF/IF/DCS and Ladle section.
To establish & control job / work orders in his assigned area
To control/supervise all technicians and foremen in the assigned area
Analyze and take effective measure for all breakdowns and increase machine availability for production.
Communication of information and reporting to management to be established and followed.
Should be an effective team builder and communicator. Solves all disputes of subordinates and coworkers. Should be able to create amicable working atmosphere.
