Plan and supervise the maintenance activities of a wide range of instrument and control systems in the plant and coordinate these activities with operations and other maintenance teams to ensure reliable functioning of the instrument and control systems. Job Specific Accountabilities
Provide support to the operations and maintenance teams for equipment testing, troubleshooting, routine equipment surveillance, and start-up activities. Liaise with Mechanical and Electrical sections and establish seamless integration between operation and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with planned maintenance activities. Provide technical support in the field for executing critical maintenance activities of equipment to minimize downtime. Evaluate, allocate, and arrange manpower requirements for daily preventive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance plans. Assess workload, backlog, and work plans; coordinate with relevant sections to complete the work plan. Monitor and arrange resources for effective compliance. Monitor and control required materials, spares, consumables, and tools to ensure continuous availability. Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and non-scheduled shutdowns; recommend solutions to enhance reliability and availability. Contribute to planning major maintenance, upgrades, and obsolescence issues aligned with the divisionaEUR(TM)s 5-year business plans. Support development, implementation, and commissioning of new projects, ensuring cost optimization and standards compliance. Participate in defining technical requirements, evaluating bids, inspecting received materials, and monitoring contractor performance for quality assurance. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation and Control, Electronics, or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
At least 6 years of experience in Instrument and Control engineering and maintenance within a large industrial organization, preferably in Oil and Gas. Additional Details
