Job Summary

Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests. Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered. Identifies discrepancies in results. Provides guidance to entry level engineers. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.

Minimum Requirements Technical Excellence: Contributes to the development of technical proposals. Develops ESHIA reporting by gathering, correlating and analysing environmental monitoring data using computer software and established procedures and standards. When possible, collects and analyses information from respective discipline and interdisciplinary project leads. Fully develops the Environmental report content by applying both survey inputs and technical knowledge to ensure high-quality output production by following project timelines. Participates in the interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. Works on detailed or routine environmental assignments involving surveys, specifications, sketches, diagrams, specific discipline models/ inputs, drawings, reports and tender documents. Identifies discrepancies in results and proposes an approach to solving new problems encountered. Performs work under the agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision--coordinates with other discipline Engineers/ Scientists as applicable for the environmental assessments. Maintains and develops the highest level of technical skills and abilities, ensuring that the environmental quality of reporting complies with Client and Authority requirements. Coordinates with Authorities for scheme approvals. Client Relationship Management: Begins to participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements, explain/defend work, etc. 3+ years experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor or Master of Science or Engineering from an accredited University. Relevant registration required in Qatar and UAE.
