Job Description
As a Project ELV Engineer, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of all ICT and ELV components for a number of built environment projects across the Unit.

- Carry out conceptual studies of the ELV engineering systems, estimate plant and space requirements along with the preparation of design principle sketches that can be distributed to the various team members
- Design ICT/ Security/ ELV / AV/ IOT systems for all types of buildings from concept design through to detailed design and tender documentation
- Develop design reports and specifications for ICT / Security / ELV / AV / IOT services
- Provide design solutions for technical issues in relation to areas of ELV systems design
- Able to attend site meetings as required, to resolve on-site technical, coordination, and progress issues
- Evaluate and advise on electrical-related design changes and non-conformances to ensure fulfillment of the requirements
- Lead the preparation of reports and manuals as well as guidelines documents related to specific ICT / ELV and control issues
- Define and supervise the preparation of relevant design drawings and manage the production of documentation such as feasibility reports, calculations, specifications, tenders, engineer’s estimates, and site acceptance documents
- Ensure the development of required documentation for the review process in order to include comments, recommendations, and corrective action plans for the prime contractor as appropriate
Candidate Specification
- Degree (BEng/BSc/BE) in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications engineering from an accredited university; RCDD accreditation, BICSI / ASIS membership (or working towards) to a professional institution
- Experience in a wide spectrum of ELV technology including but not limited to; structured communications cabling, active networks, video surveillance, access control, fire detection, building management systems, audio-visual systems, nurse call systems, active components, guestroom management systems, SMATV, tracking system, RTLS, SCADA, SPL calculation, WIFI Heat map, car parking management system, etc.
- Awareness of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and BIM would be advantageous
