About the role Our team is growing in Oman and we are looking to hire Electrical Infrastructure Engineers to support across Oil and Gas projects.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below: Prepare and check all critical engineering deliverables like SLDs, Metering and protection drawings, equipment layout, cable trench and cable routing layout, cable and conduit schedule, earthing layout, lightning protection, lighting layouts, block diagrams, interconnection schedule, SCS, SOER and Material calculations (MTO) etc. Performing all electrical design calculations. Participation in the technical reviews and progress review of the project. Conducting/participating in design review and SAFOP. Installation and commissioning support for the electrical content of HV infrastructure projects Attend QA audit for concerned projects and prepare corrective action for CAR (Corrective action request) Supervision of Engineer, senior designer, and designers for executing the work to implement without fail in terms of quality and schedule Ensure that LL (lesson learned) are contributed from all projects to central database
Candidate Specification
Engineering diploma in Electrical Engineering with experience in consultancy background preferably in the field of Oil and gas engineering Fully conversant and hands on experience on DigSilent/EDSA/ETAP electrical power solution software's for performing power system studies. Fully conversant with protection relays and protection relay setting/schedules Preparation of electrical specification, equipment data sheet, equipment selection and technical bid evaluation.
