About the role:

We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer to support the delivery of civil infrastructure and utility support on Masterplanning and land development projects in the UAE.

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

Lead the preparation civil infrastructure strategies & designs as well as independently fulfilling the required technical inputs such as, demand calculations, hydraulic models, utility plots sizing, feasibility studies, research, design reports, presentations, sketches, drawings, etc.
Guide and mentor junior team members to provide efficient and compliant deliverables with a high standard of quality.
Preparation of utility corridors and right of ways sections and layouts.
Liaise with local authorities (including utility companies), in pursuit of approvals and general coordination.
Coordinate with master planners/architects and the other disciplines or functions within the company such as road engineering, transport planning, marine, sustainability teams etc.
Analyse and process information collected from authorities and third parties along with conducting site visits, surveys and investigations.
Represent the company in technical meetings with our clients, supervise the work of more junior staff and provide technical and professional guidance to assist their development.

Candidate specifications:

Minimum Bachelors\xe2\x80\x99 Degree in Civil Engineering; progressing towards Professional Registration (CEng or similar) with membership in a professional institution
Modelling software experience with infrastructure planning, and master planning requirements in Abu Dhabi, Dubai & KSA
Ability to research, benchmark, comprehend and apply research outputs on requested strategies, technologies and sustainable approaches
Experience and skills including, Infraworks, Civil3D, hydraulic modelling Storm CAD, Sewer CAD, Sewer GEMS, Water GEMS, Epanet, GIS etc.
Ability to manage a design and approval process interfacing with the project team, Clients and Stakeholders
Sound knowledge of authority and standards mainly (DPM/UPC, ADDC, TRANSCO, DoE/ ADWEA, ETISALAT, DU, RSB, ADM, DEWA, RTA, DM), as well as KSA guidelines
In-depth understanding of Dubai, Abu Dhabi & KSA Authority Guidelines is a must
In-depth understanding of relevant software is a must
Strong infrastructure engineering background with previous experience on infrastructure projects
Possess existing relationships with key decision makers within local utility organisations.
Technical knowledge of both wet and dry infrastructure utilities (including sewer, stormwater, potable water, irrigation and firefighting water, gas, district cooling, electrical and telecommunications)
Ability to prepare presentation material and present to client, with the technical background to discuss the proposed strategies for various utilities
Understanding of contemporary infrastructure modelling software packages
