Description
  • Oversees the implementation of initatives and programs related to student engagment.
  • Oversees student engagement in the Academic Programs.
  • Help to plan, organize, and implement student success strategies
  • Support students with setting personal goals and connecting desired outcomes with current activities, time management skills, prioritizing commitments and meeting deadlines.
  • Monitor students\' academic progress; Identify & generate reports of At-Risk students in coordination with the Academic Dean\'s office
  • Arrange remedial classes: One-to One peer tutoring, futorials, exam revisions etc.
  • Support students in establishing career plans and objectives consistent with their educational qualifications.
  • Identify gifted students, provide support to enrich their skills, facilitate opportunities for the university to benefit from talented skills.
  • Encourages students to engage in national and international competitions.
  • Encourage students to apply for prestigious scholarships and honorable awards.
  • Support students with justification to get exceptional opportunities granted by the Dean/Registrar\'s office.
  • Encourage students to participate in entrepreneurship and leadership activities to enhance their personal growth.
  • Encourage students to become active members of professional societies.
  • Provide students with opportunities for meaningful and rewarding personal and professional growth.
  • Adhere to the University\'s information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching, guidance and mentoring as required to enhance the internal capabilities of the team and ensure the achievement of established objectives and plans.
  • Recommend appropriate training courses as per the pre-determined training needs, evaluate their effectiveness, and monitor their results.
  • Carry out performance appraisals for subordinates according to planned schedules and recommend necessary actions as per the applied practices.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure that priorities are clear and workflow is running smoothly.
  • Follow-up on employees\' administrative affairs such as vacations, leaves and other administrative and related affairs.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • A Bachelor\'s Degree in related field.
Required Experience
  • Expats: A minimum 7-9 years of relevant experience.
  • UAE Nationals: A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
