Our client is a large government organization in Abu Dhabi, currently hiring an Endpoint Engineering Specialist who will be responsible for managing the endpoint management systems, deployment services, endpoints, and software.
This is a long-term contract for 2 years (extendable) Key Selection Criteria:
Subject Matter Expert for Windows 10/11 Intune/SCCM, Autopilot, Hybrid AD joins, Defender ATP, PowerShell
Subject Matter Expert for Citrix, Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) Architecture, Deployment, Azure Automation, FSlogix, Azure Files
Subject Matter Expert for Microsoft Endpoint Manager, SCCM, Intune and Co-management Workloads, Windows as a Service
Strong English & Communication Skills Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop
Act as the Subject Matter Expert for SCCM (MECM) and Intune
Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Software packaging and deployment
Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Security Patching, creating, and deploying packages
Lead the implementation of Intune environment as part of Microsoft Modern Desktop Administration
Lead the designing and configuring of Intune policies (device, application, email, conditional access, password management, etc.)
Manage and update Windows group policies for end-user devices
Creation & Deployment of Applications, Packages, Software Packaging and Software Updates
Assist in the administration and support of an enterprise-level Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
Build and maintain task sequences
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology
Knowledge sharing across the team through documenting and presenting Education:
University degree (mandatory)
Certifications in SCCM (MECM), InTune

ITIL Certification Experience:
+10 years experience in managing enterprise environments at leading enterprises
+5 years of practical on-the-job experience in managing hybrid platforms.
+5 years of experience working in a customer-oriented environment delivering and maintaining the high-end quality of service Technical Expertise / Skills / Knowledge:
Experience in managing Windows devices via modern cloud methods (AD Azure/Endpoint Manager/InTune).
Experience of Microsoft Office 365 services and how they relate to end-user computing (OneDrive, Threat Protection & Data Loss Protection)
Broad experience and knowledge of Citrix platforms
Experience working with broad range of endpoints (mobile, desktops, BYOD)
Experience with Windows Autopilot as a modern OS deployment solution
Experience with Windows GPO / Intune policies implementation and problem resolving
Experience deploying FSlogix and applications
Experience with SCCM, software packaging, distribution, and patch management.
Understanding and knowledge of Citrix platforms
Experience performing threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications and requirements for the introduction of new technologies.
Ability to construct, interpret and execute test plans to verify sound operation of implementations
Excellent analytical and intellectual capabilities
