Providing comprehensive medical care to adult patients in both physical and telemedicine settings in all internal medicine and Endocrinology needs. Responsible for providing expert clinical care in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of endocrine. This role encompasses a wide range of conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal diseases, and metabolic syndromes and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Additionally, practices population health management and value-based care, focusing on improving patient outcomes through efficient and effective healthcare delivery, with a focus on optimizing resources and enhancing patient outcomes. Ensure high-quality patient care, engage in clinical education, and contribute to research initiatives while adhering to safety and quality standards

Assessment and Diagnosis

Conduct comprehensive assessments and accurate diagnoses of endocrine disorders Perform detailed patient histories and physical examinations focused on endocrine function. Utilize diagnostic tools such as blood tests, imaging studies (ultrasound, MRI), and other endocrine function tests. Collaborate with laboratory staff to evaluate and interpret biochemical results relevant to endocrine disorders. Conduct comprehensive telehealth consultations via thorough patient history and physical examinations with patients experiencing internal and general medicine complaints Develop personalized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide ongoing patient education Deliver high-quality medical consultations to patients Oversee ongoing care for chronic and acute conditions Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, specialists, and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care Practice population health management by identifying and addressing health issues at the community level, implementing preventive measures, and promoting health education and awareness Document findings and treatment plans meticulously in patient records

Treatment Planning and Implementation

Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients. Collaborate with patients to discuss treatment options and preferences. Design individualized treatment strategies that may include medication, surgery, or non-invasive therapies. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

Clinical Quality and Safe Practice

Ensure the delivery of high-quality and safe clinical care in endocrinology. Adhere to clinical guidelines and best practices established by professional organizations in endocrinology. Participate in quality assurance initiatives, including audits and peer reviews, to assess clinical practices. Implement safety protocols to minimize risks and complications associated with endocrine treatments

Collaboration with Healthcare Providers

Foster effective collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Engage in regular case discussions with other specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care. Attend departmental meetings to contribute to the development of clinical pathways and treatment protocols. Facilitate referrals to and from other specialties based on patient needs and complex cases

Patient Safety and Satisfaction

Maintain compliance with all patient safety standards and ensure patient safety across all clinical interactions Report any patient safety risks or issues to the appropriate staff in quality department Practice safe medicine to ensure no patient harm Explain medications possible side effects and proper use Maintain satisfactory patients consultations through communication, taking complete history, providing empathy and understanding of patients conditions and circumstances, explanation of diagnosis and proposed management plan and answering patient queries

Professional Development and Compliance

Commit to ongoing professional development and adherence to regulatory standards. Participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities, workshops, and conferences. Stay updated on advancements in endocrinology practices and technologies. Ensure compliance with health regulations and institutional policies.

Skills

Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from an accredited medical school. Passion for providing high-quality physical and virtual care. Proven experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of Endocrinology Strong understanding of telehealth principles and best practices. Proficiency in utilizing video conferencing platforms and electronic health records (EHR). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients remotely. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
