ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED. A new healthcare facility is seeking a specialized candidate for the role of Endocrinologist - Specialist/Senior Specialist/Consultant. Job Purpose: Specializes in treating disorders of the endocrine system, the network of hormone-producing glands in the body. This includes treatment of multiple glands throughout the body that can cause problems with reproduction, growth, bone health or metabolism. Endocrinologist will also help patients to deal with the physical limitations due to diseases stemming from problems with the endocrine system. An endocrinologist may specialize in certain subspecialties, like diabetes & metabolism, thyroid disease, endocrine oncology, neuroendocrinology, Pediatric endocrinology, gender affirmation, reproductive endocrinology, endocrinology nuclear medicine. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and reviews basic medical history.
• Inquire about current symptoms and reasons for the visit.
• Conduct tests to determine any endocrine gland related issues.
• Analyze lab results and presentation of symptoms to arrive at a conclusive diagnosis.
• Educate patients about available treatments and adverse effects.
• Prescribe medication for the treatment of symptoms.
• Monitor the effectiveness of treatments during follow-up visits.
• Advise on surgery when necessary by discussing with the patients side-effects, if any.
• Work with other specialized physicians to treat & cure certain conditions, such as glandular tumors.
• Advise on outside therapy, when needed.
• Train and/or coach endocrinology students & interns, when needed.
• Attend endocrinology conferences and seminars to learn about new medical techniques and topics.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD).
• Must have completed residency in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.
