Coordinate with HR, SSC and various departments to process full-cycle payroll for company employees, while working in compliance with internal policies and local labor laws and regulations. This role will support in accurately resolving issues that result from changes in policies and/or payroll data in partnership with the HR team, while acting as a governance pillar to the company, driving quality in execution and providing data that is insightful for the business.

Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely on monthly basis.
Monitor, and execute time attendance processing and interface with payroll. Maintain and keep track of employee leave records, accruals and accumulation.
Maintain ad hoc payroll and HR operational reporting like FTE, EOS, LP, etc, to create and maintain a customer-service environment that will support and assist with the HR Managers/BP inquiries to add value to business requirements.
Run payroll cycles, reconciliation, and resolve out of balance situation on monthly and yearly basis.
Balance payroll accounts by auditing information; identifying and resolving discrepancies (cycle balancing).
Accountable for the accuracy of the payroll processing data submitted to HR team.
Meets financial standards by identifying variances; implementing corrective actions. Maintains the accurate updates of records by reviewing changes in employee payroll, deductions, overtime, etc. Liaise with local HR representatives, to understand the reasons behind any ad-hoc changes to remuneration.
Maintain data integrity in MenaItech Payroll system and ensure proper execution of payroll cycle on MenaItech.
Update employee information for new and existing employees into the payroll system. Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records.
Issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases.
Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters.
Comply with company policies, internal controls and government regulations affecting payroll processing
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of pay calculation rules not limited to new hires, termination, time processing, and payroll adjustment for assigned market and general understanding of local laws governing payroll processing.
Assist Finance with month end reconciliations and year-end activities pertaining to payroll.
Academic Background
University degree in Accounting or related field.
Experience
Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive work experience in Payroll or Employee Services.
Excellent knowledge of local labor law and payroll regulations
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
English fluent (written and oral)
