This role plays a critical part in medication safety, therapy optimization, and multidisciplinary clinical support, while also supporting the UAE Emiratisation agenda through structured development programs.

Role Summary
The Emirati Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing prescriptions, preparing and dispensing medications, monitoring drug therapies, and providing pharmacological guidance to healthcare teams. The role ensures compliance with DHA regulations, patient safety standards, and Al-Futtaim Health clinical protocols while delivering compassionate, community-focused care.
Key Responsibilities
Pharmaceutical Care
Prepare, dispense, and label medications accurately and safely
Review prescriptions issued by authorized prescribers for accuracy, appropriateness, and dosage
Monitor patient drug therapies to ensure optimal outcomes and minimize adverse effects
Provide pharmacological information and guidance to physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare staff
Clinical & Safety Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and internal pharmacy policies
Maintain accurate medication records and clinical documentation
Support medication safety initiatives and quality improvement activities
Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and adherence when required
Collaboration & Professional Practice
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams in a team-based care environment
Support Emiratisation initiatives including the SINYAR development programme
Participate in ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development activities
Ideal Profile
UAE National with DHA Pharmacist license or eligibility
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
Strong commitment to patient safety, precision, and ethical pharmaceutical practice
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment
Skills Set
Excellent knowledge of pharmacology and medication preparation
Strong patient interaction and clinical documentation skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good computer literacy and familiarity with pharmacy systems
Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
