Role Summary
The Emirati Pharmacist plays a key role in delivering safe, effective, and culturally aligned pharmaceutical care to patients across HealthHub Clinics and Pharmacies. The role focuses on medication management, patient counseling, health education, and collaboration with clinical teams, while contributing to national healthcare goals and Emiratization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications in accordance with DHA regulations and clinical standards
Provide clear counseling to patients on medication usage, side effects, and adherence
Support patients and families by improving health literacy and medication understanding
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes
Participate in community-focused healthcare initiatives and patient education programs
Supervise pharmacy operations including inventory control, storage, and medication safety
Support training and mentorship of Emirati pharmacy students under the Educational Training and Grant Program
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards
Ideal Profile
Emirati national with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy
DHA licensed pharmacist or DHA-eligible graduate
Strong interest in clinical pharmacy, community service, and continuous professional development
Commitment to ethical practice, patient-centered care, and UAE healthcare values
Skills Set
Strong communication and patient counseling skills
Good understanding of clinical pharmacy practices and medication safety
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
