The Role

Emirati Assistant Director of Finance for an International Hotel, Abu Dhabi As an Assistant Director of Finance / Assistant Financial Controller you are responsible for assisting in managing all hotel accounting and financial requirements in an environment of tight control. General Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining a system of internal controls which will provide the most effective control of the assets and revenue of the hotel. Assist maintaining all accounts accounting records of the hotel Ensure that all laws and fiscal regulations of the country of location (which affect the financial matters of the hotel) are complied with Ensure the safekeeping and updating of all leases and contracts and all other legal records and document which may affect the financial status of the hotel. Supervise at the end of the month, the closing of the books and the subsequent timely preparation of the required financial data. Ensure that local tax matters, including both income and other taxes, are properly handled



Requirements

Qualifications:

o Emirati with a family book o University Degree in Finance o Proficient in English and Arabic, written and spoken Skills: o Strong interpersonal and communication skills o Ability to work well in a team o Excellent communication and presentation skills o Strong planning and organizational skills o Strong attention to detail and analytical skills o Ability to multitask and work under pressure o Ability to prioritize work and follow through o Highly flexible; adapts to change quickly and prepared to work out of regular hours o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point), in particular strong excel skills; Digital systems proficiency is a plus
