Job Description

The purpose of this position is to support the Station Experience Team Leader by ensuring the station E&M assets are of a suitable condition to enhance customer experience. This will involve identifying, correcting and reporting of works to ensure the stations are the best they can be.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the system Team Leader/technician in carrying out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Assist the system Team Leader/technician in identifying areas of concern and support the rectification of this items. Take guidance from the system Team Leader/technician and provide PM / CM tasks where required. Carry out repair and maintenance work with the use of hand, machine, electrical and electronic tools and reference to technical drawings, signalling schematics, manuals, procedures and instructions. Replace faulty equipment, handover/taken back to the electronics workshop for repair. Ensure the maintenance tools and equipment are maintained in good condition both before and after job activities. Assist the systems Team Leader and/ or other technical support staff to implement complex systems or new projects. Perform shift and emergency duties when required. Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the system Team Leader. Able to work independently and in a team. Able to Communicate safety critical messages where required.

KEY SKILLS

Able to update daily work progress through simple and detailed reports. Possess good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Should have strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities. Hold a valid driving license with good driving skill and experience will be added advantage. Strong technical mind, and ability to grasp the complexity of Metro assets design and functioning. Innovative in finding solutions.

KNOWLDGE REQUIRED

Working knowledge of basic tools for electrical/ mechanical services.

EXPERIENCE

1/ 2 years work experience as a qualified technician in maintaining Dubai Metro assets or equivalent systems will be added advantage.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFCATION

* Minimum 2 years Vocational trade certificate or 3 years Engineering Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
