Aim of job:

  • Lead the development of the regional Medical Education plan, strategic direction, ongoing execution, and budgeting of initiatives including regional standalone, medical education steering committee, advisory boards, symposia, conferences and other interventions as needed.
  • Provide support and expertise to the Medical Affairs colleagues in their digital, virtual, face to face plans.
  • Ensure optimal harmony and integration with regional MAF. Lead and develop the Medical education projects. Represents company internally and externally, represent EM MAF voice at EMEA MAF and IBVT.
  • Lead the Regional Medical Affair Teams encouraging efficient communication, education and alignment with the MAF Managers from each of the operating companies.
  • Identify common KBQ, we discover and develop innovative medical solutions to address unmet medical needs in dedicated therapy area.
  • Chip in to the development of the MAF strategy for allocated therapy area based on interactions with and input from CVT and drive the team in its delivery of agreed projects and tactics
  • Provide proficient and reliable scientific data to HCPs about disease state education and Janssen products.
  • Medical education execution excellence, Identify Emerging Markets list of speakers and develop new speakers, develop long term strategies that ensure year over year efficiency and capability improvement and enables the success of Deliver's overall strategic plan.
  • Support the planning of local OpCos medical education projects and co-share projects whenever common key business question.
  • Interact positively with internal/external business partners and colleagues. Collaborate and find resolutions to cross-functional issues with business partners.
  • Collaborate with EMEA medical education manager, and incorporate emerging markets inputs to EMEA medical education projects.
  • Delivering Medical Education plan for EM countries in alignment with TASC outcomes aiming at supporting multiple stakeholders in enhancing patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant medical affairs experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn complex business and technical processes, as well as effectively coalesce and communicate complex information from different sources.
  • We are seeking candidates with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, having demonstrated the ability to drive collaboration across teams, inspire without authority, and support smart risk-taking.
  • Knowledge of medical education environment and regulation is a must.
  • Proven track record of success as Medical Science Liaison & or medical advisor.
  • Location: any of Emerging Markets

Knowledge & skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of a very broad range of specific TAs and products.
  • Good knowledge of study execution, Global Medical Safety and regulatory affairs Good knowledge on publication planning processes Highly customer and market place focused with an awareness of the importance of business results Innovative with the ability to coordinate and drive a complex and changing environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment Capable of working in multicultural, virtual teams and manage teams with no direct authority.
  • Team player with the ability to work under own initiative Self-starting, proactive and innovative Very strong and demonstrable communication and influencing skills that can impact at a Local, Regional and Global level and collaborative mind set.
