We are looking for a dedicated ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Technician to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of various systems such as CCTV surveillance system, Access Control, Intrusion Detection System, structured cabling system for local area networks and Wi-Fi networks in commercial and residential buildings in Dubai and the UAE.
Role & Responsibilities:
Install, configure and commission ELV systems as per project specifications
Conduct regular preventive maintenance and perform systems inspection to ensure optimal performance
Diagnose faults accurately and carry out effective troubleshooting and repairs professionally.
Be able to interpret and work from technical drawings, wiring schematics, and layout plans.
Prepare and maintain accurate site reports, system identification numbers, installation logs and service documentation.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations onsite and report any anomalies.
Qualifications
Diploma in electrical or electronics or relevant technical field
Additional certification from ELV equipment manufactures (e.g. Hikvision, Honeywell) are an added advantage
SIRA certified candidates will be given preference
Minimum experience and Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with CCTV systems, access controls, and CAT6 structured cabling
Proficient in cable pulling, termination, conduit installation, and system testing
Able to verify IP addressing system, network connectivity and network naing convention.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a team environment.
Excellent attention to details, organizational skills and a strong work ethics
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: AED2,400.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
