Job Description

Position:

ELV Project Site Engineer

The ELV Project Site Engineer is responsible for managing and supervising the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems at project sites. This role involves close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead site activities for ELV systems including

CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address/BGM, IPTV, Intercom, BMS, and Structured Cabling

. Ensure work is carried out according to project specifications, approved drawings, and authority regulations. Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and technicians to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to timelines. Monitor site progress, resolve technical issues, and report to the Project Manager. Act as a key contact at site, liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical) to ensure smooth integration of ELV systems. Conduct site meetings and prepare progress updates. Review and implement

method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals

. Perform inspections, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems. Ensure compliance with international standards (NFPA, BS, IEEE, etc.) and local authority requirements. Maintain proper documentation including daily site reports, checklists, and as-built drawings.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related engineering field. 3-6+ years of site experience in

ELV project execution and supervision

. Strong knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA, Structured Cabling, etc.). Familiar with authority approval procedures and international standards. Ability to read/interpret

technical drawings, schematics, and project documents

. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools.
