Job Description
Responsible for day to day Operations and administration on network & securityinfrastructurePerform Installation, configuration and maintenance of network equipment and networkoperating System.Designing and installing computer networks, connections and cablingTroubleshooting system failures and identifying roadblocks in the networkFixing problems in LAN infrastructure and testing and configuring softwareMaintaining and repairing hardware including peripheral devicesEvaluating network performance to improve the networkScheduling upgrades and maintenance without interrupting business workflowProviding technical direction and giving training to coworkers about network systemsWorking with vendors to get needed equipment for the networks and systemsSet up fibre optic telecommunication and data networksInstalling televisions, cables, routers and IT devicesTroubleshooting issues with the cable networkEnsuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulationsCompleting paperwork such as timesheets, checklists, vehicle inspection reports andservice ordersTest systems and find and fix any faults Skills: CCTV AccesscControlInstallation ConfigrationTroubleshooting StructuredCabling Termination SM & MMSplicing Testing IP SurveillanceSystems LAN &WAN ServicingCommissioning CableManagment UTP Cables( CAT 6,6a, CAT 7, CAT 7e) Fiber & CopperTesting Communication ProblemSolving Critical Thinking TimeManagement Creativity Multi TaskIOT DNS Automation Teamwork
- Design of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems (Telecommunication / Structured Cabling, WiFi, GSM, Audiovisual, Background Music, Broadcasting, IPTV) and CCTV / Security), from conceptual design phase and all the way through the construction phase.
- Coordination with other disciplines during the design phase, including Architectural, Interior Designers, MEP, Infrastructure, Landscape, etc.
- Demonstration of strong skills required for ELV
- Demonstration of product knowledge and standards followed
- Liaison with clients to understand their systems requirement, and to obtain their approval on the proposed design.
- Liaison with all local authorities (Etisalat, Du, ADMCC, etc.) and obtain all required design NOC/s.
- Preparation of ELV Systems design documents including drawings and specifications.
- Vendors Technical Bid evaluations.
- Review contractors material submittals and shop drawings to ensure their compliance with the project drawings and specifications
- Assist in responding to contractors RFI/s. -
