Elv Estimation Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ELV Estimation Engineer to join our team in Sharjah on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for ELV systems, ensuring competitive and compliant bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed ELV cost estimates, BOQs, and tender pricing for CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, SMATV, IPTV, PA, Intercom, and BMS-related systems Review tender drawings, specifications, and scope documents to identify risks, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities Perform quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labor cost analysis for ELV works Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain technical and commercial quotations Prepare pre-tender budgets, cost comparisons, and post-tender clarifications Support negotiations and handover to project teams after award Maintain historical cost data and pricing benchmarks for ELV systems
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engineering Minimum 5-8 years of UAE experience in ELV estimation and tendering Strong knowledge of ELV systems, specifications, and authority requirements Proven expertise in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools Strong analytical and numerical skills Ability to work independently and meet tight tender deadlines
