to support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
Role Overview
The ELV engineer will be responsible for executing end-to-end CCTV system works, including installation, commissioning, configeration of Servers, NVRs, and VMS systems, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation. This role requires close coordination with contractors and clients to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery.
Core Responsibilities
Install, configure, test, and commission of ELV systems.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and performance.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to software, and network connectivity.
Interpret and work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout plans.
Maintain accurate documentation, including installation reports, service logs, and configuration records.
Coordinate on-site activities with other engineers, contractors, and clients.
Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, local regulations, and project specifications.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or an IT-related field.
Minimum of
5 years of proven experience
in ELV system installation and maintenance.
Proficiency in the use of hand tools, testing equipment, crimping tools, and basic network configuration software.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Valid UAE driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
