ELV Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Engineer with 4-5 years of experience in managing ELV systems and leading teams on-site. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with design, installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems in commercial or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of ELV technicians and sub-engineers on-site. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems including: CCTV & Surveillance Systems Access Control Systems Public Address (PA) & Audio Systems Fire Alarm & Detection Systems Structured Cabling (Data & Voice Networks) Building Management Systems (BMS) interface (if applicable) Intercom & Communication Systems Coordinate with clients, consultants, and main contractors for project requirements and deliverables. Review and approve ELV drawings, BOQs, and material submittals. Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, progress, and compliance with specifications. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update management on project status. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site promptly. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians to enhance team performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field. 4-5 years of experience in ELV systems, with hands-on site exposure. Proven experience in managing a small to medium team. Strong knowledge of ELV standards, codes, and best practices. Familiarity with project documentation, drawings, and material specifications. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with large-scale commercial, hospitality, or industrial projects. Knowledge of integration with BMS or smart building systems. Certification in ELV systems or relevant training programs.
