Elv Engineer (cctv & Security Systems)
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated ELV Engineer to oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of low-voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in security systems and ensure all projects meet Qatar's regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
System Design: Prepare and review shop drawings, BOQs, and technical submittals for CCTV, Access Control, and Intercom systems.
Installation & Supervision: Lead site teams and subcontractors during the installation of Structured Cabling, Public Address (PA/VA), and SMATV.
Testing & Commissioning: Conduct final testing of integrated systems, ensuring they meet MOI-SSD (Ministry of Interior) requirements.
Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues in existing ELV environments.
Project Documentation: Prepare progress reports, method statements, and O&M manuals.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the Qatar/GCC market.
Certifications: Valid UPDA/MMUP registration is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and system integration.
Local Status: Valid Qatar ID (QID) with Transferable Visa/NOC is mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
