The ELV Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority standards, and client requirements. The role also includes conducting site visits, preparing ELV layouts, troubleshooting, technical support, and supervision of technicians to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability
Carry out installation of ELV systems, including Automation, CCTV, Time Attendance, Access Control, Intercom, Sound Systems, Gate Motors & Barriers, and wired/wireless networks.
Conduct site visits to assess requirements, gather data, and design ELV layouts according to site conditions and project needs.
Handle and resolve technical issues raised by clients in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure all ELV installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, authority regulations, and international standards.
Assist in testing and commissioning of installed systems.
Review design drawings and provide technical feedback for IT, ELV, Telecom, and Security services.
Provide technical and design advice for ELV systems to ensure optimal solutions.
Check, validate, and approve design packages.
Manage and oversee the implementation and execution of ELV systems on-site.
Ensure IT, Telecom, ELV, and Security systems meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot and maintain ELV systems, including basic network device troubleshooting.
Supervise and support a team of technicians, ensuring proper execution of works.
Provide technical input to the design team for ELV solutions.
Configure servers and storage devices as required.
Maintain and update credentials and documentation for all sites.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION : Attested Degree On Any IT related Engineering
Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in ELV system (CCTV Cameras, Access Points, Sound System) and Technical Support
