We are seeking a skilled

Electronics Technician

with hands-on experience in

wiring harness assembly, testing, and troubleshooting

. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic systems, cable assemblies, and harness layout according to engineering drawings and standards. This role is crucial in supporting production, prototyping, and field service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and install

wiring harnesses

, cable assemblies, and connectors in electronic systems. Read and interpret

wire diagrams, harness layout drawings, and assembly instructions

. Perform

continuity testing, insulation resistance checks, and pin-to-pin validation

on harness assemblies. Use hand tools and automated equipment for cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating wires. Troubleshoot and repair faulty harnesses, connectors, and components. Build, test, and maintain electronic circuits, control panels, and related hardware. Support engineers in prototype builds and design validation testing. Document harness build processes and maintain assembly records. Ensure compliance with

IPC/WHMA-A-620

or similar industry standards for harness workmanship. Adhere to all safety protocols and ESD precautions during assembly and testing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and workstations.

Qualifications:

Diploma or associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field. Minimum

2+ years of experience

in electronics and

wiring harness assembly

. Proficient in reading

schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings

. Skilled in using multimeters, crimping tools, wire strippers, soldering irons, and harness test equipment. Familiarity with

mil-spec connectors, heat shrink, braided sleeving

, and other harness materials. Understanding of

cable shielding, routing, and strain relief best practices

. Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610) preferred. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently or in a team setting under minimal supervision.
