Electrician - Interior & Fit-Out Projects

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician with a strong background in interior and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in electrical installations, wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance for commercial, residential, and office spaces. The role demands precision, safety awareness, and coordination with site teams to ensure timely and compliant execution of electrical works.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installations, wiring, and terminations for lighting, power, and control systems. Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and layout plans accurately. Install switches, sockets, distribution boards, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components as per project design. Ensure all electrical works meet local authority regulations, DEWA/ADDC standards, and project specifications. Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on-site. Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades to coordinate smooth workflow and avoid delays. Conduct routine testing, inspections, and quality checks to verify system performance and safety compliance. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician in interior fit-out or MEP-related projects within the UAE or GCC. In-depth knowledge of wiring methods, load distribution, and electrical installation standards. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Awareness of local electrical codes and safety requirements. Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on site work.
Preferred

ITI or Diploma in Electrical Trade or equivalent qualification. Valid UAE electrical work experience with fit-out contractors. Knowledge of smart lighting systems or energy-efficient solutions is an advantage.
