Job Title: Electrical Technician

Electrical Engineer / Project Supervisor

Job Purpose:

To perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in compliance with safety standards, technical drawings, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and standards. Diagnose and repair electrical issues in control panels, circuits, and distribution systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. Ensure proper grounding, insulation, and safety of electrical connections. Support commissioning and testing of electrical systems for new installations or modifications. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to complete project tasks on time. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities and update records in CRM/Software. Adhere to company and site-specific safety procedures and regulations. Report faults, potential hazards, and system performance issues promptly.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification. Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical installation, electrical power meters, maintenance, or other power systems. Knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and troubleshooting techniques. Experience with LV/MV systems (as applicable). Familiarity with tools and testing instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, etc.
