We are seeking a skilled
Electrical Technician
with hands-on experience in power distribution systems, equipment installation, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge ofsubstations, distribution boards (DB), main switch distribution boards (MSDB), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators
, andelectrical cable installation and termination
.Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot
electrical systems and equipment
. Perform wiring, cabling, and termination as per electrical drawings and safety standards. Conduct routine inspections ofsubstations
,DBs
,MSDBs
, andUPS
systems. Assist in installation, servicing, and testing ofbackup generators
. Ensure compliance withelectrical codes
, regulations, and safety protocols. Read and interpretschematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
. Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members on project execution. Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.Skills & Qualifications:
ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance (min 2 years preferred). Proficient in handling:
Substations (LV/MV systems)
Distribution Boards (DB, MDB, SMDB)
UPS systems and batteries
Diesel Generators (DG sets)
Power and control cabling
Familiarity with safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures. Ability to work independently and in a team. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
