Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Electrician

to join our switchgear division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for wiring, assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of low-voltage switchgear panels, ensuring compliance with electrical standards, safety protocols, and company quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out wiring and assembly of LV switchgear panels, distribution boards, and control panels. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Perform routine inspections and functional testing of switchgear assemblies. Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively. Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and power systems following local regulations Inspect and perform troubleshooting of electrical issues with ATS, Capacitor Bank, Circuit Breakers, MDB, SMDB, and transformers. Busbar fabrication and control wiring Ensure adherence to safety standards, IMS procedures, and company quality guidelines. Assist in on-site installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities when required. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and quality inspectors to ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements

Needs to have a Technical Diploma / ITI Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, assembly, and panel testing. Middle East Experience of 2 Years is mandatory (Switchgear background preferable) Ability to read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Control Wiring expertise is necessary Familiarity with international standards (IEC/ISO) is preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
