The role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across GMG's retail stores and properties. The ideal candidate will ensure operational safety, timely repairs, and compliance with electrical and safety standards to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, panels, and outlets for GMG retail stores.
• Conduct troubleshooting and corrective maintenance to resolve electrical issues promptly.
• Ensure that all electrical systems and components operate efficiently and safely.
• Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and service calls across multiple store locations.
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance activities on electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate service and repair logs, documenting all costs and maintenance records.
• Verify that safety protection devices and electrical systems are functioning correctly.
• Support maintenance teams with equipment testing and electrical upgrades when required.
• Follow company safety and environmental standards at all times.
• Communicate daily activity reports and highlight issues requiring urgent attention.

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related trade.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Electrician, preferably in retail or commercial property maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with electrical testing and measurement tools.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Physically fit and capable of handling on-site repair tasks.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
