Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of electrical codes, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment. Inspect electrical components such as circuit breakers, transformers, and wiring. Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose problems, and resolve them in a timely manner. Read blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine work procedures. Ensure all electrical installations meet local and national electrical codes. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using test equipment. Install and maintain electrical panels, lighting systems, outlets, and other electrical devices. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards and perform necessary repairs. Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the work site is free of hazards. Keep records of work performed and materials used.

Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician or relevant role. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards. Ability to work with hand tools and power tools. Familiarity with various electrical testing equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. Good physical condition and stamina. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Valid electrician certification or license (as required by local regulations).

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment. Experience with energy-efficient systems and renewable energy installations. First aid and safety training. High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
