Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform cable termination for LV, DC, and communication cables in panels, junction boxes, and inverters.

- Install and secure cable trays, trunking, and conduits as per project layout and electrical drawings.

- Execute conduit installation (PVC/GI/EMT) for surface and embedded wiring.

- Interpret and work from electrical drawings, schematics, and site layouts.

- Carry out DC cable routing, connection, and testing for solar PV systems.

- Install and crimp MC4 connectors and other solar PV-specific components.

- Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, and polarity testing of installed cables.

- Coordinate with site engineers to ensure installations align with project specifications and timelines.

- Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with local electrical regulations and company HSE policies.

- Identify and report installation issues or material shortages to the site supervisor.

- Maintain tools and work area in a safe and organized condition.

Requirements:

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or relevant technical field.

- 3-5 years of experience in electrical installation, preferably in solar or construction projects.

- Familiarity with solar PV systems, DC cabling, and MC4 connectors.

- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

- Knowledge of cable testing tools and procedures.

- Good understanding of electrical safety and PPE usage.

- Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor and rooftop environments.
