Position Summary - :

The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and electrical standards. Ideal candidates will have experience with diesel systems, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Job Summary-:

Electrical Installation & Maintenance-:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on diesel-powered equipment, generators, vehicles, and industrial systems. Perform wiring, conduit work, circuit installations, and troubleshooting.

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting-:

Diagnose electrical faults in diesel machinery (e.g., alternators, control panels, starters, batteries). Use tools like mustimeters, diagnostic software, and schematics to resolve issues efficiently.

Compliance & Safety-:

Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Perform lockout/tagout procedures and maintain a hazard-free work environment.

Preventive Maintenance-:

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel-powered systems and electrical components.

Replace worn or faulty parts before failure occurs to minimize downtime.

Documentation & Coordination-:

Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts used.

Coordinate with mechanical teams, supervisors, and diesel technicians for integrated system repairs.

Qualifications & Skills-:

ITI, Diploma, or Certification in Electrical Engineering or a related trade. Licensed electrician (as per local or national regulations). Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industrial or diesel electrical systems. Strong knowledge of AC/DC systems, wiring diagrams, and control circuits. Familiarity with diesel generator electrical systems and industrial control panels. Ability to use diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment. Understanding of safety protocols and electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC). Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
