Job Description
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an electrician. Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent training. Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints. Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments. Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
Duties in Construction Project (Electrician)
Install electrical wiring, conduits, and fittings Set up G.I. boxes and junction boxes Lay PVC and G.I. conduits as per project specifications Install and fix trunking for cable management Perform distribution board (D.B.) dressing and wiring Carry out cable termination and connection Pull wires through conduits and trunking Conduct Megger insulation resistance tests Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems and components Collaborate with other trades and project teams Maintain accurate documentation of work performed Respond to electrical issues during construction phases Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical installations
