Job Description

IMEP is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical installations, exhibiting excellent workmanship in all aspects of containment, lighting, small power installations and distribution systems. Knowledge of fire detection and automation installations is also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including containment, lighting, small power installations, and distribution systems. Ensure all electrical installations are compliant with local safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems and components to identify potential issues. Conduct a range of tests to ensure the integrity of the electrical installation Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of installations and minimize disruptions on site. Assist in the installation of fire detection and automation systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform corrective actions to ensure the reliable operation of systems. Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed, including installation reports and compliance with safety regulations. Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and safety practices to enhance personal skills and contribute to the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician Strong knowledge of electrical systems related to containment, lighting, small power, and distribution. Experience with home automation installations, including familiarity with different systems and technologies. Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of workmanship. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
