Performs all electrical installation and maintenance repairs in the hotel property.
Ensure property is safe from any electrical hazards.
Guest's maintenance services are attended with priority and update to Engineering management on the status of the same.
Schedule, complete and monitor all the "Electrical Preventative Maintenance Program" in the property especially.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.
Conduct inspection tours to ensure all electrical maintenance is in adherence to hotel standards and policy at all times.
Coordinate special projects as directed by the Engineering Management.
Maintain a professional courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
Follow established all company policies and those outlined in the Employee Guidebook.
Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
Complete make-ready process of vacant rooms as directed by the Property Manager.
Work within expense limits established.
Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas to proper condition.
Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency calls
Install audio, video & lighting in the guest rooms and public areas.
Contribute to the hotel's profitability by ensuring the compliant to the hotel's environmental policy and buildings environmental controls and energy conservation systems at all times.
Any other duties as directed by the management
Ensuring all food hygiene and health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to and implements any legislation as required by UAE Law
