The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in buildings, facilities, or construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical works as per UAE standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
:
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control systems, and fixtures.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, using tools and testing equipment to locate electrical faults.
Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
Replace or repair wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring and equipment.
Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians to complete tasks on time.
Maintain proper documentation of work orders, maintenance logs, and materials used.
Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times during work.
Qualifications & Experience
:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical or equivalent trade certification.
2-5 years of experience
as an Electrician, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
Familiar with UAE electrical codes and DEWA/SEWA/ADDC regulations (preferred).
Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Basic understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems is an advantage.
