JOB PURPOSE

The candidate has to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Must be able to install or service lights and electrical control systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE

ITI or Vocational course in electrical engineering.

2 years' experience.

Comprehensive knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in installing, repairing and maintaining electrical equipment.

Should have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates.

COMMUNICATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

The technician has to communicate internally with the Maintenance Coordinator and with externally with the supermarket manager.

KEY DIMENSIONS AND RELATED JOB RESULTS

Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

Diagnose malfunctioning systems, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Connect wires to circuit breakers or other components.

Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.

Provide assistance during emergencies by operating generators, placing flares.

5.

OPERATING ENVIRONMENT

The technician has to travel to different locations in UAE to attend calls logged on to Manage Engine.

The working environment is physically demanding of time such as working long hours, working on weekends and holidays.

Pay: AED2,200.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
